A new CHC is coming…
Upcoming website enhancements
Updates will commence 4:00PM 30 June 2026, you may notice some changes from this time.
It is time for the Clinicians Health Channel (CHC) website to have a refresh; to better support clinicians in navigating the site and reflect its new home within Safer Care Victoria.
As part of this update, you will see changes to both the design and functionality of the site:
- Updated look and feel: The website layout and visual design are being refreshed to improve readability and make navigation more consistent across pages
- New filtering options: Resource discoverability will improve with new filters, allowing you to narrow results by topic and resource type. This is intended to reduce time spent searching and make it easier to locate relevant content.
- New search experience: A new search box powered by the EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) will be added to the site. This will allow you to search across multiple research databases rather than searching resources separately. NOTE this feature will be activated from 14 July. The search box included before this date will be website searching only and not part of the EDS package.
New CHC Support site, delivered by EBSCO
User support for the CHC will be provided through a dedicated support page managed by EBSCO. ‘CHC Support’ will include:
- access to registration, user guides and support materials
- a live service status and outage tracker for CHC systems and resources
- training resources and webinars
