Clinicians Health Channel – Upcoming Changes

From 1 July 2026, the Safer Care Victoria will commence a new statewide contract for the Clinicians Health Channel (CHC) with EBSCO. This partnership will ensure all Victorian public health services continue to have access to high‑quality, evidence‑based clinical information that supports safe and effective patient care.

About EBSCO

EBSCO is a global provider of clinical information services, supporting hospitals and health systems with secure clinician-focused access to evidence-based resources. With more than 40 years’ experience in Australia, EBSCO works closely with state and territory health departments, public hospitals, and clinical networks, delivering end-to-end managed services that reduce complexity, improve access, and support safer clinical decision making.

EBSCO will provide a fully managed service for the CHC, covering authentication, search, publisher management, help desk support, training and reporting. This allows Safer Care Victoria to focus on strategy and patient safety while EBSCO manages operational delivery.
